Redemption tickets earned in redemption games are exchanged only for merchandise from our prize counter (plush toys, novelty items, candy), never for cash or cash equivalents. ESRB ratings are posted at each cabinet and by area, with any Mature (M)-rated experiences restricted to guests aged 17 or older.
In-store retail of new and pre-owned video game software and consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC accessories), controllers, headsets, memory cards and merchandise. Handyman-level maintenance and minor repairs — light fixture replacement, minor drywall patching, painting touch-ups, hardware replacement, general upkeep and preventive maintenance rounds for property managers. Work involving licensed trades (electrical wiring, plumbing systems, HVAC installation/repair, structural modifications, gas lines) is referred to state-licensed electricians, plumbers, HVAC contractors and general contractors separately engaged by the client.
DEVOM LLC operates within the scope permitted by our state and local business licenses. Admission and play at our venue are governed by posted pricing for game credits, tokens and day passes, and event bookings (birthday parties, corporate events, tournaments) are confirmed with a written event agreement — venue area, headcount, duration, catering options (where applicable), price and cancellation terms — before the event date. Retail sales are receipted at the point of sale with sales tax collected per state and local rates.
Our operations are conducted in compliance with applicable US laws and industry standards, including: state and local amusement device laws and permits governing coin-operated and card-credit game machines in the jurisdictions where our venue is located; state anti-gambling laws — we operate strictly as amusement, with all games and tournaments structured so that no monetary or monetary-equivalent prize can be won and no wager can be placed; ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) rating conventions posted at play stations and applied to age-restricted content at retail; ADA Title III public accommodations standards; local zoning ordinances and Certificate of Occupancy for our venue; local fire marshal inspection, NFPA fire codes and posted occupancy limits; music licensing for background and promotional audio through ASCAP, BMI, SESAC and GMR where applicable; state and local sales tax collected on retail sales; PCI DSS for card-present payment processing; state and federal employment laws including FLSA wage and hour requirements; general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance in force; and applicable federal and state truthful advertising standards enforced by the FTC and state attorneys general.
